| This scripture summarizes my life: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you". -Matthew 6:33 I live in beautiful Tempe, Arizona in the "Valley of the Sun". Tempe is a suburb of Phoenix, which is a large city, the 6th largest city in the nation and there is a lot to do and see. In addition, the weather is simply the best in the winter. Arizona is truly a unique state and it has one of the wonders of the world, The Grand Canyon. The picture on the left was taken in Sedona Arizona, the "land of the red rock". Hobbies/Extracurricular Activities: I live and breathe the health & fitness lifestyle, and I am constantly reading and trying to learn about new workout techniques, nutrition, and diet. Painting has been a hobby for a long time and I do paintings for friends/family for special occasions. See the gallery link to see some of the paintings I have done. My primary medium is pastel oils but I am now discovering acrylic. Music is a passion for me. I studied classical piano years ago and later branched off into vocals. Currently I sing with a choir, 'The East Valley Chorale', and we perform every month at retirement homes and care homes for seniors. I am also part of the worship band at church. Oh, and yes, I sing BASS! I am privileged to live in a metro-area with professional sports teams and it is fun! From the Former World Series Champs, the AZ Diamonbacks, to the fast paced stick wielding AZ Coyotes, to the AZ Cardinals (well....they are doing better this season) , there is much to see and do. Give it up for AZ sports!!! There is something about traveling and visiting new places that is very exciting and appealing. The picture on the left was taken in Florida, one of the many states I had the opportunity to visit recently. And the picture at the bottom was taken in Las Vegas, NV. Now, I want to see the North West, the Seattle-Oregon area. I also want to visit Australia sometime soon.... there are so many places I want to visit, but not enough time and money!!!!
